MOTYK
It was back in the Autumn of 2016 when the musicians of MOTYK first came together. Originally intended as the launching of a new generation for the legendary Dutch band Flairck (nominated as Best Live Band at the Flanders Folk Awards 2019), releasing as such the album Back Alive! in 2020 (winner of Best Album of the year by the Indie Acoustic Project (USA) in the Multi-Genre Fusion). The music of MOTYK remains mainly of acoustic and instrumental nature, however always pushing the limits of specific genres and styles. motyk.be |

Troissoeur Troissoeur consists of a collaboration of 3 Vanvinckenroye brothers (Rein, Edwin and Joris) and guitarist Pieter Thys. In the late 1990s they created their quirky, expressive, anarchistic and theatrical electro-acoustic sound. Currently, the group is working on a new program Vinistan that will be presented in 2024. troissoeur.band |

OTHER
Unknown Evidences (Rode Boom) In 'Unknown Evidences' Kurt Demey and Joris Vanvinckenroye try to challenge coincidence and catch a glimpse of its existence. A crossover of theatre, music and mentalism where coincidences accumulate into memorable experiences and where the audience has mentalism in his own hands Realities (Rode Boom) Realities is an artistic quest based on the magical intuition of scientific thinkers in a visual language that is receptive to different dimensions and multiversed in mentalism, music and scenography. Coexisting realities give the viewer an utterly unique stage experience. In Realities, your view of reality is changed forever. rodeboom.be PAST PROJECTS Aranis Aranis was a Flemish acoustic, experimental, progressive chamber folk music group led by composer and contrabass player Joris Vanvinckenroye. Their music has been described as a blend of "chamber classical and rock", with elements of East and Southern European folk music. Aranis recorded seven albums, and performed live at a number of European venues, including the Rock In Opposition festivals in Carmaux, France. They made their American concert debut at NEARfest Apocalypse at Zoellner Arts Center, Bethlehem Pennsylvania in June 2012. A biography of the group at All About Jazz said that "in concert, Aranis creates an unforgettable atmosphere. Variation and expressivity hold the audience riveted. Chaotic structures and virtuoso crescendos alternate with serene intervals." Due to a difficult cultural climate, the group decided to stop at the top of its career in 2019. |
